By Sofia: From my experience working with divine energy, I understand that men are often connected to assertiveness, logic, and rationality.
For them, a relationship is a matter of choice and timing. When a masculine energy man feels confident in their ability to protect and provide, they become incredibly stable and reliable partners. However, when a man feels he’s not good enough to maintain a connection, they usually become avoidant and inconsistent, taking distance from their partner.
So, one may ask—what makes a guy feel he’s not good enough to commit?
Societal Expectations: Traditional societal norms often place a significant emphasis on masculinity being associated with strength, dominance, and control. This can lead to a feeling of pressure to conform to these expectations, which can create insecurity if an individual feels they are not meeting them.
Comparison to Others: Comparing oneself to others, particularly other masculine individuals, can contribute to feelings of insecurity. This may arise from perceiving others as more successful, physically attractive, or dominant, leading to a sense of inadequacy.
Emotional Suppression: Masculine cultural norms often discourage men from expressing their emotions openly. This suppression of emotions can lead to a lack of self-awareness and an inability to cope with emotional challenges, resulting in feelings of insecurity.
Fear of Vulnerability: Showing vulnerability is often seen as a sign of weakness in traditional masculine culture. This fear of being perceived as weak can lead to a reluctance to seek support or share personal struggles, contributing to feelings of insecurity.
Past Experiences: Negative experiences, such as childhood trauma, rejection, or relationship failures, can contribute to feelings of insecurity in masculine individuals. These experiences may have created a deep-rooted sense of inadequacy or a lack of self-worth.
Lack of Self-Confidence: Insecure masculine individuals may lack confidence in their abilities, and self-worth. This can stem from a variety of factors, including negative self-talk, a lack of positive reinforcement, or a history of failures.
Perfectionism: A desire to be perfect or to meet unrealistic standards can lead to feelings of insecurity. This relentless pursuit of perfection can create a cycle of self-doubt and inadequacy.
External Validation: Seeking external validation from others, such as compliments or achievements, can contribute to feelings of insecurity. Relying on external factors for self-worth can lead to a fragile sense of self-esteem.
A man who questions his masculine energy needs a period of self-reflection to evaluate his self value, move forward to bring growth upon himself and regain his confidence. And when he finally knows where he’s going, assured, and confident, only then can he give his feminine counterpart a sense of assurance in a relationship.
Considering this, it’s important to note that this isn’t the case for everyone but rather a generalization of multiple situations I’ve come to view as a spiritual advisor. Remember that individual choices warrant individual outcomes. Still, the most important thing in a connection besides love and trust is to balance each other out and reciprocate each other’s efforts.
