It begins when effort no longer produces the same results. When clarity dissolves. When the body slows, relationships fracture, work loses meaning, and the future stops responding to willpower. This moment is often misdiagnosed as failure, depression, or a lack of positivity.<\/p>\n

It isn\u2019t.
\nIt\u2019s a life phase.<\/p>\n

Ancient systems understood this terrain. In the runic tradition, it is known as the Second \u00c6tt\u2014the middle passage of life, where survival matures into awareness and restraint. It describes what happens when expansion ends and pressure begins. Something breaks. Control slips. Resources tighten. Movement halts. Time stretches. Identity loosens. Certainty collapses. None of this is optional, and none of it can be bypassed.<\/p>\n

Modern culture struggles here. We are taught to soothe ourselves out of discomfort, to stay calm, aligned, high-vibe, and abundant. We are encouraged to click away from pain, meditate it into submission, and reframe it quickly. Suffering is treated as a mistake\u2014as though conscious humans should be exempt from it.<\/p>\n

But this refusal to face what hurts does not create peace.
\nIt creates resistance.
\nAnd resistance is what turns this phase into trauma.<\/p>\n

Nature does not bypass its winters. It dies back. It sheds. It waits.<\/p>\n

A snake must shed its skin to survive. As it grows, the old skin becomes too tight, too restrictive. If the shedding is incomplete, the retained skin can impair vision, cut off circulation, trap infection, and eventually kill the animal. In the wild, a failed shed is fatal. Nature does not shed because it is ready. It sheds because it must. Pressure builds from the inside until the old layer can no longer contain what the body has become.<\/p>\n

Humans forget this rhythm. We imagine ourselves above it\u2014entitled to constant growth, ease, and forward motion. In doing so, we lose touch with what abundance truly means. Abundance is not endless comfort. It is having enough to endure what is real.<\/p>\n

This season asks for honesty, not optimism.
\nEndurance, not inspiration.
\nThe courage to lift your head and look at what matters, even when grief, loss, or disillusionment are staring back at you. <\/p>\n

You cannot rush it.
\nYou cannot make it pleasant.
\nYou can only live it cleanly.<\/p>\n

On the other side is not the happiness promised by culture, but something quieter and more durable: clarity. A steadier strength. A truer sense of what stays and what must fall away\u2014a real equilibrium.<\/p>\n

Many people are here right now. Few are told the truth: you are not broken. You are being shaped. And if you can remain awake through it\u2014without numbing, without bypassing, without abandoning yourself\u2014you do not merely survive this passage.<\/p>\n

You cross it with integrity.
\nAnd that changes everything that comes after.<\/p>\n
